Workshop JUNIOR JOINERS 14-16 Years old Friday 23th October 1:00 - 2:30
Looking for something fun, practical and genuinely hands-on?
Junior Joiners is all about getting stuck in, trying new things, using real tools and making something to take home, while having plenty of fun along the way!
Every session starts with a quick toolbox talk and safety briefing, before Junior Joiners get stuck into the day's project. They'll learn how to measure, mark, cut, drill, sand and assemble, picking up genuine practical skills as they go.
There’s no sitting back and watching. Junior Joiners get to have a go, try things for themselves, work things out and see their project take shape. Along the way, they'll build confidence with tools, learn new techniques and discover just how much they can do for themselves.
SAFE • SMALL • HANDS-ON
Our sessions are fully risk assessed and led by experienced supervisors, with a maximum of 3 Junior Joiners per supervisor.
That means plenty of support, close supervision and, most importantly, lots of time to get hands-on, have fun and make something they're proud of.
Every week brings something new to try, with different tools, techniques and projects to get stuck into. As their skills grow, so does the challenge, and the sense of achievement when they finish something they've made themselves.
As this is a work area poorly behaved children will be asked to leave.
