Our informal beekeeping group aims to provide those interested in taking up beekeeping with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills required for honeybee care. The group is ideal for those interested in establishing a hive of their own or who are interested in learning more about keeping bees. Participants will also learn about how honeybee colonies work, the life cycle of a colony, and how to interpret honeybee behaviour. 

• Beekeeping protective equipment is provided to all participants.
• Recommended for those aged 16 and older.
